Running with the Guard folks

Today was the first of the spring physical fitness events put on by CSM Harry and the WVARNG for our soldiers and friends… we did a roughly 4 mile “trail” race/run up and around and through Coonskin Park.  Probably arount 60/40 trail road mix, pretty fun course for what it was intended to be.  Nothing really too hardcore, very accessible to most anyone that runs occassionally, etc.  I competed better than I expected, and did the 3.83 mile course in 36:07, and there were a couple tough hills in the mix too!  Encouraging result and feeling in my body considering the Grinder is next weekend!
